(JAMESTOWN, N.D.) – The Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce has named DuraTech Industries International, Inc. as the 2008 “Business of the Year.” This honor recognizes DuraTech’s continued support and contribution to the Jamestown area community through increased employment and business activity, on-going innovation of products and services, exemplary employee relations and various contributions to community projects.

“We feel very honored to have been chosen by the Jamestown Chamber as the Business of the Year,” said Al Goehring, Marketing Manager at DuraTech. “We are proud to join the long list of outstanding area businesses that have been recognized in past years with this award. The Business of the Year Award will be presented to DuraTech at the 78th Annual Chamber Awards Banquet on Thursday, January 22nd, 2009, at Shady’s Restaurant & Lounge inside the Gladstone Inn in Jamestown, ND. The Chamber will also recognize Dean Haas with the Above and Beyond Award and James “Jim” Carlascio with the Outstanding Citizen of the Year Award.
